The Nature of Transition / Kolbusz Space
with represented artists Georgia Bisley, Aileen Corbett, Mal Harry, Waldemar Kolbusz, Benjamin Kontoullas & Kartika Laili Ahmad
A showcase of tightly curated works by several artists represented by Kolbusz Space will include Georgia Bisley, Aileen Corbett, Mal Harry and Waldemar Kolbusz and will also feature brand new lighting design collab duo Benjamin Kontoullas and Kartika Laili Ahmad. All will explore how their artworks can transform or integrate with the built environment or the context in which they are placed. The artworks more specifically investigate themes of transition in either how the medium is pushed or the subject matter itself.
Kolbusz Space joins a select group of designers and artists exhibiting in The Nature of Transition, a carefully curated experience set against the historic backdrop of the Fremantle Naval Store. Curated by Cindy-Lee Davies, The Nature of Transition celebrates the connections that emerge between objects, people and the spirited essence of lived environments—an interplay made possible through thoughtful design.
