Poppy Garbin is the co-founder and Creative Director of Pop and Scott, an Australian design studio known for its distinctive approach to furniture, lighting and objects that celebrate craftsmanship, colour and connection. Since co-founding the business in 2012 with her partner, Scott Gibson, Poppy has developed a design style that balances contemporary form with warmth, playfulness and a deeply human approach to making.

With a background in floral design, Poppy brings a unique perspective to her work, drawing inspiration from the natural world, materiality and the emotional relationships people have with their spaces. Her designs are informed by a belief that objects should not only be functional, but should also feel magical, tell stories and create a sense of warmth and wonder within the home.

Under her creative direction, Pop and Scott has become recognised for its commitment to Australian manufacturing, handcrafted production and collaborative design. Working closely with other makers and her partner Scott, Poppy has led the development of collections that blur the boundaries between art, design and everyday living. Her work is characterised by an exploration of texture, colour and form, resulting in pieces that feel both contemporary and timeless.

Now based in Western Australia, Poppy continues to make and design from her studio in Margaret River, where the surrounding landscape and slower pace of regional life have become important influences on her creative practice.
