Tin Pan Gully I is the first of two figurative works featuring a galloping horse. The piece blends fluid acrylic underlayers with expressive, textural oil-stick mark-making. Finished in a solid walnut frame with a minimalist structural design, the work juxtaposes the organic energy of the subject with deliberate form.
Balancing untamed movement with restraint, the work invites viewers to experience the strength and enduring presence of the horse.
