Various Forms of Production

with Remington Matters & MORE Studio

Various Forms of Production is an installation by Remington Matters and Melbourne-based creative practice MORE Studio that explores the dynamic tension between craft and industry.

A handmade conveyor system constructed from stainless steel, aluminium and cast resin measuring 3 metres in diameter circulates a series of prototypes and artefacts supported by a projection that transports audiences into a working studio.

Various Forms of Production is a collaboration symbolic of both studios’ process, method and means, a moving showcase signifying the push and pull between human creativity and mechanised production.

Cheap Tongue Gallery is located inside Shacks Holden Creative Sudios, corner James & Beach St, Fremantle
