Zine Making Workshop
with Molly Wellington from Craft Club
What if we imagined a better world by making better use of what we already have?
In this hands-on zine-making workshop, we’ll turn discarded books, old magazines, paper scraps and other secondhand materials into something entirely new.
You’ll learn the classic one-page zine fold, then experiment with collage, drawing, writing and other ways of making to create a small publication of your own.
Zines have always been a really accessible, lo-fi way to get ideas out into the world – no fancy equipment or design degree required.
Step away from the screen and into a creative analogue world: paper, scissors, glue, mess and a few hours to make something with your hands.
You’ll be encouraged to play, experiment and think about what you want to put out into the world – whether that’s a tiny manifesto for a better future, a collection of strange ideas, a visual diary, or something entirely silly.
All materials are provided, with plenty of repurposed and found materials to work with. No experience necessary.
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. This event is a small gathering with limited capacity. Refunds will only be issued if the event is canceled by the organiser.
