River Drive Lullaby

with Jessica Wraight

Jessica Wraight’s new landscape paintings share views from a routine journey along the Derbarl Yerrigan and around town while trying to lull a child to sleep. Painted with the nostalgic tones of film photography, the series depicts local industrial and leisure scenes, culminating in a small travelogue of kerb-side daydreams.

The exhibition will be part of the King William Street Studios’ open day featuring Whispering Smith’s film shorts celebrating the gentle density philosophy of their New Resident projects and Studio Barker’s in-situ garden installations. Members of the public are invited to meet the resident design teams and wander through the warehouse for an afternoon of art, design and inspiration.

Full address:
King William Street Studios – 6 King William Street, South Fremantle, WA 6162

Note: This exhibition will be open Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 but the King William Street Studios open day will only be on Saturday.

No registration needed, all welcome.
