Metamorphosis is an eclectic art exhibition showcasing abstract photography and repurposed found objects collected over a decade. This exhibition explores the concept of transition through design aspects, quirky subject matter, juxtapositions, and textures. The use of space, composition, and the installation presentation illustrates themes of growth, change, and progress.
The unconventional installation aims to provoke various responses about contemporary life through memories, reflections, distortion, and surprise. The subject matter includes elements that are shunned, obscured, overlooked, discarded, or devalued.
Metamorphosis takes a playful approach, mixing found objects with images, obscured glass, mirrors, and recycled materials. Some repurposed and upcycled objects will be incorporated into the Lieutenants Mess gallery space, challenging conventional norms and encouraging new, personal interpretations of our changing environment.
