Fremantle Design Week joined with Quality Press for the FDW Poster Design Competition.

The brief? Design a poster expressing the Fremantle Design Week theme ‘transition’.

Transition is a movement from one state to another. In challenging times, how do we transition the way we think about our world, as individuals and communally, to design a positive future? 

The 10 shortlisted posters are on show at the PS Art Space during Fremantle Design Week.

The winner will receive a beautiful Carrie Table Lamp donated by Alti Lighting.

FDW Poster Design Competition is presented by:

• Finished size A2 portrait (420mm x 594mm)

• The poster must use the Fremantle Design Week 2024 colours yellow, sand and black exclusively. Use any or all of the colours in your design. 
  CMYK values
  – Yellow C0 M20 Y100 K0
  – Sand C1 M0 Y5 K0
  – Black C0 M0 Y0 K100

• Use any 2- or 3- dimensional medium: photography, illustration, typography, printmaking, painting, collage, drawing, or a combination.

• Your entry can be digital or on paper. If shortlisted, entries supplied on paper will be scanned or photographed to create the artwork for Quality Press to print the poster.

• Digitally supplied entries can be scaled to A3 (297mm x 420mm)

If your entry is shortlisted, we will need print-ready art (we can assist with this if you need help when the time comes).
