DIA WA Life Fellowship Presentation and Designer Networking

presented by the DIA and Simone LeAmon

Two of Western Australia’s most respected designers are being elevated to Design Institute of Australia (DIA) Life Fellowship, and we invite you to celebrate with us.

Join us at PS Art Space in Fremantle as we honour Kathleen Kusinski and Melanie Marshall, co-founders of MKDC, who have led one of WA’s most awarded interior design practices since 1992.

DIA CEO Simone LeAmon will present the awards and share her reflections on design, culture and community, from her curatorial work at the NGV to her new role at the DIA.

Arrive early to explore the Fremantle Design Week anchor exhibition Imagine: Material Stories exploring circular building materials and textiles before the formal presentation.

Welcome drink and light refreshments included with ticket. Additional drinks purchasable at the bar.

We look forward to celebrating with you.

For DIA Accredited Designers, attendance at this event is worth 2 CPD Points.

Please book via the link.

DIA is the national membership organisation for designers in Australia, advocating for the profession and its practitioners across disciplines, industries and all stages of a designer’s career.

Through advocacy, leadership, and access to networks and resources, DIA supports designers to thrive creatively and commercially, while strengthening the contribution of design to the systems, services, products and environments that shape the nation.

By bringing together designers with the people, businesses, educators and institutions that commission, employ, educate and promote design, DIA collectively builds Australia’s reputation as a globally recognised design nation.
